Events 
Our kindergarten year has many special events to enrich the school experience for the children.
Birthdays: Each child is invited to celebrate their birthday with the class by providing a simple birthday treat along with juice or milk on a day on or near their birthday. Summer birthdays can be celebrated either at the child's half birthday or in the spring.
School Spirit Day: Wear green and gold clothing to school to show our school spirit.
Halloween: Wear our Halloween costumes to school for our parade. Enjoy the carnival that follows.
Pep Rally: Participate in the all school pep rally during Homecoming Week.
Poetry
in the Park: Share our class poem with the other lower
school classes.
Thanksgiving Feast: Join the other kindergarten classes to prepare and eat a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
Winter
Holiday Party: Make a winter craft, play winter games, and
enjoy hot chocolate with a snowman snack.
100th Day Celebration: On the 100th Day of School explore and experience the number 100 in a variety of fun and interesting ways.
Grandparents' Day: Enjoy visiting with our grandparents at school by showing them our classroom and school campus.
Valentine's Day: Bring Valentines for your class party. Enjoy a Valentine craft and a special snack.
Celebrate Authors: Learn about some favorite authors such as Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss. Participate in a variety of activities, including book parades and author visits..
Pattern Day: Wear clothes to school that show patterns.
Quilting Day: Make an individual quilt for every child.
A Rainbow
of Friends: Family and friends are invited
to our kindergarten musical program.
End of the Year Party: On the last full day of kindergarten, enjoy summer activities all day with the entire kindergarten.
