Recess is scheduled daily. This is a time for the children to get some exercise and to participate in various outdoor activities. These include: building with blocks, jumping rope, bowling, playing in the sand box, biking on the bike path, and free use of all the playground equipment. By participating in these various activities, many learning concepts are reinforced. As well, recess is a time for the children to socialize with their friends in all four kindergarten classes. The children are supervised by their kindergarten faculty on a rotating schedule.
