The Arts at Shorecrest are considered to be a very important tool in developing well-rounded citizens. Visuals Arts instruction in K-4 is intended to help students develop an understanding of the arts, discover creative ways to express themselves, become familiar with a variety of artists and art styles, and relate the arts to other academic disciplines.
An art professor of mine once said, "It is my job to teach you how to SEE...anybody can draw!" Please use the following links to help encourage your children in the visual arts.
