I am reading a book entitled, The Whipping boy. The main characters
in the book are Horace and Jemmy. Prince Horace is very bossy and always thinks he should get whatever he wants. He can't read or write his own name. Jemmy is a rat catcher who lived in the streets before he was chosen to become the whipping boy. He is able to put up with Prince Horace. I think Jemmy and Horace are more different because
Jemmy was a rat catcher for money he used to live in the dirty streets. Horace lives in a castle with his father the king and gets food every day and night and does not need money for food. This book has a custom of royalty having a whipping boy. A whipping boy is a boy who would get whipped to teach a lesson to the other boy who was misbehaving.I think this custom is bad because other kids should not be hurt if they have not done anything.

I think Prince Horace and Jemmy are more different because they are from different places and wore different clothes. They also like different things and they have different cultures. This book shares a custom of royalty having a whipping boy. A whipping boy is a boy that gets whipped on the back. I think this is a bad custom because if you get whipped on the back that would really hurt. But if you're a whipping boy you would get whipped more than once so your back might sting. It would not be the whipping boys fault but the boy gets whipped anyway.

I am readng a book entitled The Whipping Boy. The main characters are Jemmy, the royal whipping boy of Prince Horace and Prince Horace, who some people call Prince Brat behind his back. My favorite parts of the book are when Jemmy and Horace become friends, although they do not see it themselves. My second favorite part of the book is when they go in the sewers and meet Johnny Tosher, who does not hear very well so they had to shout to him. Another favorite part of the book is when Hold-Your-Nose-Billy and Cutwater, who are the thieves, run away from Petunia, the Dancing Bear, scares them out of their skin! Another part of the book that Iike is when they ride in the wagon that belongs to the hot-potato man and get free, raw potatoes because they were hungry.

I think Prince Horace and Jemmy are more different. I think that bacause one is a selfish brat and the other one is a poor boy who gets whipped. This book shares a custom of royalty and having a whipping boy. A whipping boy is a boy who gets whipped for the prince's misbehavior. I think this is a bad custom because people should only get punished if they did something bad themself.
