Mathematics

Everyday Mathematics is the program used to teach mathematics. The focus of this program is to enhance problem solving and mental math skills without losing sight of the basic math concepts needed in today's world. The program is organized into the six strands seen below. Students revisit topics within each strand several times throughout the year. Many of the third grade topics are investigated with tools such as calculators, geoboards, and base 10 blocks.
