I thought these two chapters were well spoken. Jonathan went to fight, and got his own gun. Jonathan was surprised he was needed. The musket Jonathan had caused him trouble. If I were Corporal I wouldn’t of let Jonathan enlist. Even if the Corporal did let me enlist I wouldn’t of fought.

The book starts off with a nice steady pace. I like how it sets the setting for the whole book. I like it that Jonathan is hiding from one man and another one is a little to the left and Jonathan tries to escape but there’s one more man right behind him hiding in chapter 3:47. Jonathan seems to be very brave; I would be scared of dieing in a war. The only part I don’t get in the three chapters is when Jonathan and his father were talking together an his father says ”Don’t you - by God - don’t you go beyond!” Over all I think this is better than Phantom tollbooth and Tuck Everlasting.

This book was awesome! It has Sunny, Klaus, and Violet. They all go to live with Uncle Monty. Uncle Monty studies snakes. He has a whole room full of snake. He also has hedges in his yard that looks like snakes. The three kids and Uncle Monty are going to Peru. For just in case though he needs a helper, Stephano. Stephano turns out to be Count Olaf and Uncle Monty rips his ticket to get to Peru so he can’t come but Count Olaf needs to kill the kids. So instead he kills Uncle Monty!What will happen?????

These chapters were the best chapters so far. I like them because everything is starting to come together. My favorite paragraph was on page 177. Here are the words from the passage: ”But later, when Winnie went out to the fence, she saw the sky was changing. It was not so much clouding up as thickening, somehow, from every direction at once, the blank blue gone to haze. And then, as the sun sank reluctantly behind the treetops, the haze hardened to a brilliant brownish-yellow.” My second favorite part in these two chapters is when Winnie’s grandmother says” Well thank the Lord this is almost over.” And Winnie thinks to herself: Yes, it’s almost over.
These chapters where awesome and a little weird! I can’t belive Winne wants to switch spots with Mae. I feel sorry for Winnie though to be loooking out the window helpless of saving Mae. Even though it sounds weird I really really want to read more or finish it! If I was stook in a house with people I get along with and there my friends I would help them like Winnie. Winnie was most likely sad and happy. Happy to be home and sad to be away from the Tucks. I can’t belive that Winnie took the spring water. I would if I will die soon but other than that i would not!

In these two chapters Mae hit the man in the yellow suit in the head with the shotgun. The constable said if the man in the yellow suit dies Mae is going to the gallows. Winnie told the constable that the Tucks didn’t kidnap her, but that she wanted to come with them. At the end Mae is taken to prison and Winnie is reunited with her family. These two chapters were exciting and I liked them.

This book is weird! It starts off saying do not read this book. It all starts with three kids Sunny, Klaus, and Violet. Violet was the oldest and was 14 and Sunny was nearly one and larger than a boot. Klaus loved reading and was the middle child. While on the beach a man comes over in tears and says that there parents died in a fire and they will live with him. Who was this man it was Mr. Poe. The next morning Mr.Poe said you will live with a relative now named Count Olaf. So when they got to Count Olaf’s house they saw a tall, skinny, long finger nailed, and creepy looking man. He looked cruel and mean but friendly a little. As Count Olaf lead them in there room Violet looked at all the pictures they passed and all had eyes. A few days later Sunny was gone Count Olaf through the days he was mean but taking Sunny and locking her in a cage 32 stories high that is bad. Will Sunny live? Or will Violet marry Count Olaf to save her sister and Count Olaf will get their fortune? Read it and find out. It was awesome!
Crush Tastic was a very good book. In the book I realized that the book was exactly like the TV show, which the book and the TV show are about a girl named Miley Steurt, she is a regular person exept the fact that she Hannah Montana! Nobody knows that she is Hannah Montana but her dad Billy Ray, and her two friends Lilly and Oliver. Crush tastic was about Miley liking this guy named Jake Ryan. Jake Rian was a boy who was very famous. He started to come to Miley’s school. Every girl in the school like him and would leave him alone . Miley thought it was so weird at first, but then she started to like him to but she was never going to tell him that she liked him until Miley got up for school when her aunt Dolly had a video camera in her had she asked Miley’s dad to say somthing why it was recording. ant dolly then set her camera down Oliver and Lilly came in the door and he set his camera down to get a muffin.
These chapters were about how Winnie was “captured” and taken away to be told about the Tuck family. On the way to some where in the would they see the man in the yellow suit and while the Tuck family told Winnie there secret the man in the yellow suit heard! The secret is a secret but will it be? Will the man in the yellow suit tell? I don’t know but everything is going together!
I thought these two chapters were the best I have read so far. My favorite part was when Winnie was kidnapped. I thought it was weird that Jesse is really 104 years old. the most detailed part was how the Tucks could not hurt themselves. If the rest of the story is this interesting it will be hard not to read ahead.
