I thought these chapters were the best. To me, I thought that when the hessians didn’t give up and they were taking Jonathan hostage were the best parts. When the hessians had taking Jonathan hostage I thought he was going to die.
These chapters are really interesting. Jonathan finally connects with the b0y and can talk to him. It’s kinda creepy when they find the little boys parents dead. I kinda expected that was the case. Why would the boy just be sitting there in the shed like that?. I feel bad for him. I don’t like the Hessians. Since they were the ones who killed boys parents. These chapters were sad and interesting.

In this book two supposed twins, Marty and Grace O’Hara’s parents go missing on an expedition in the Congo. They go to a boarding school and are told they will be taken by their uncle to go live on his island(they didn’t even know they had an uncle). When they get to his island just as they are settling down their uncle has to send them back to school so he can go on a business trip. But when they drop off their uncle Grace and Marty fall out of the plane and land right in the middle of the Congo. Now they find a tree house and befriend a Indian who helps protect them from a roughen out to get them. Will they make it out of the Congo alive? Read the book and find out.

In this book a 13 year old named Otto, who has an unnatural ability to learn at an extreme level, is sent to a school called Hive which is for future supervillians. Along the way he meets some friends who all, along with Otto want to escape. Otto accidentally finds school blueprints in a classroom and starts plotting their escape. Sadly, they are caught and while they are walking back to their dorm’s a mutant plant escapes and they must find away to stop it before it destroys everything. It is basically immune to everything so far, but can Otto stop it. Read the book and find out.

They escape with the help of the hunts girls, who led by Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. The hunters may not love a man and in return they get immortality unless they are brought down in battle. now skeletons that cant be killed attack them and they must run. Along the way they fight Medusa and a lion killed by Hercules. Artemis is captured and forced to carry the sky for Atlas, the titan. Read the book to find out what happens.

I thought that these chapters were okay. A little funny part was when the women went running into house. also when the corporal was screaming his head of trying to get them into battle formation. I liked when the corporal was screaming the curse words.

I thought Jonathan should have just got the news and went home to wait for his turn someday to go to war. It was pretty ironic that he was asked by the tavern keeper if he wanted to leave if he was there anyway and he looked enchanted by the gun anyway. Also I was sure the corporal wanted to shoot the militia because of their constant whining. John’s, dad’s, friend sounded more like an escaped convict more than a militia soldier. I really liked these chapters because they were exciting and made me feel like I was there.

The Fighting Ground times 9:58-10:25 were sort of dull. 10:25 was a little more interesting. Jonathan seems nice, but i wouldn’t want to be him. I kinda feel bad for him since his dad won’t let him go to war; i can understand that, since Jonathan’s older brother and cousin went to war. I hope the next times will be more interesting.

Percy is an almost ordinary kid but he keeps getting expelled from school for strange happenings. So far so good for Percy this year at his new school Yancy Academy but on this field trip he gets really angry and “pushes” his worst enemy into a fountain. so he is taken by his pre-algebra teacher (A.K.A. meanest teacher on earth) to a abandoned room and transforms into a hideous bird-like creature. his really nice latin teacher comes to save the day though and throws Percy a pen that transforms into a sword. he slays the teacher and now figures out he is a half blood which is half god. he goes to camp half blood for half bloods on long island. Now when he just getting accustomed to life there he gets sent on a quest to get back Zeus’ master bolt he symbol of power.

In Red Badge of Courge, there is a soldier named Henry Fleeming. The war is the Civil War. He is in the 304th regiment. They have not seen a battle since the war started. Henry always dreamed of being a hero but when they finally do go into battle, he just runs away. the book is realy great. I think you should read it.
