Our Marvelous Monsters

On January 30th, a special surprise arrived from the United Kingdom. A group of students at the Stanbridge Lower School in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire sent us some monsters. Students in Ms. Bradley's class each drew an original picture of a monster. Then, they wrote descriptions of their monster. Ms. Bradley sent their descriptions via e-mail to Shorecrest, where 2nd graders were challenged to recreate them. The main objective of this project is to encourage the development of reading and writing skills while integrating technology into the classroom. Of course, they had lots of fun too!
