Nudibranchs, commonly known as sea slugs, can be found in many parts of the world. This mollusk is known for its wide arrange of colors and shapes. They use this color and odd body shape camouflage. Some consider it to be the “Butterflies of the sea”. These gastropods lack external shells, but contain toxins, which keep them from predation. Most Nudibrachs are carnivorous animals and feed on sessile invertebrates such as hydroids, sponges, corals, and other nudibranchs. |
