By: Johnathan S.

Goliath Grouper swimming around some bubbles.
Weighing in at as much as 800 pounds, the goliath grouper is the largest member of the seabass family. At its widest point, the goliath grouper's body is more then half its total length, which can be up to 8.2 feet. It has a broad head and small eyes. The fish has blotchy stripes that are generally brownish yellow, gray, or olive colored. It has small dark spots on its head, body, and fins.

Special thanks to Conrad G. and David S. for their interview.
