Swashbucklin' Swordfish!
by: Kevin J
A swordfish leaping through the air
Swordfish are large, migratory predators that are characterized by their long, flat bill. This is in contrast to the round, smooth bill of marlins. Swordfish have round bodies and lack any form of teeth. They have no close resemblance to any other type of billfish. They can reach a maximum size of about fourteen feet and can weigh up to 1,190 pounds!
