Whales are Cetaceans. Cetaceans also include dolphins and porpoises, but are usually associated with whales. They are the largest of the underwater mammals. Whales are seperated into two distinct categories; Baleen Whales and Toothed Whales. Because they are mammals, whales need to breathe air, they give birth to live young, and they feed their babies milk.
