However unrealistic this movie/picture is, research suggests that th abrupt climate changes we experience now are only going to increase in the future.

These climate changes usually occur over a vast amount of time, such as centuries, or maybe even longer. However, sometimes these climate changes can occur very rapidly-these are referred to as "abrupt climate changes"
