| My Case My egg case is a Card board box. The reason i choosed card board is because when it hits the ground, it increases the time of impact and decreases the force. Then inside of the box were two layers of bubble wrap. I wrapped it up to increase the time of impact so it would decrease the force of impact. My egg case will now have a big T and a little f . A increased time and a samll force so my egg would stay intact. The egg also had a thin case around it just so it would make a increase in time and a decrease in force. | |
| All of the egg cases should approximately have they same change in momentum because all the cases will be dropped at the same height and approximately have the same impact. They will all undergo the same change in velocity. All of the cases will have the same initial velocity and the same final velocity. They will also have the same mass. 1 pound.Since all of the egg cases have the same change in momentum they all have the same impulse exerted by the ground on the eggs. Term= impulse. Results My egg did not break. The reason my egg did not break is b/c my case had a long time until impact and since it was increased time until impact the force of impact decreased. My egg case was made of cardboard which helped because when the box hit the ground it compressed decreasing the force of impact. Also when my egg case hit the ground the two layers of bubble wrap decreased the force when the box hit the ground. They all had the same velocity and approximately the same weight so the only thing that mattered was the time of impact and the force of impact.

| Reflecting | I think if I had to design another experiment I would choose a bigger box and I would put the egg in a sock surrounded by packaging peanuts. Peanuts being the little white things so that the eggs force of impact would be decreases. This way the egg will not break. I would put the packaging peanuts in to increase the time of impact and to decrease the force of impact. |

The suspenion of a motorcycle increases time of impact and decreases force of impact when he lands a jump. when you jump on a pogo stick the spring goes up and down increasing time of impatt and decreasing force of impact. |
