The purpose of this experiment was to see if our egg in out egg cases broke or not. Everyone used different materials in their egg cases, so some eggs broke and some did not. The main reason for this egg drop eggstravaganza was to be able to explain why or why not the egg broke.

Description of egg case |
| My egg case is a shoe box that i have different materials in. what i have inside the box is cotten, a towel and papir. |

Why did all the egg cases have the same momentum? |
| momentum is the product of mass and velocity of an object. |
Because the egg cases had about the same mass and velocity. |

| What is impulse? |
Why did all the egg cases have the same impulse? |
Impulse is the product of force and time interval during which force acts. It also causes change of momentum. |

Did my egg break? Why, why not? |
My egg did not break. Why it did not break is because I used materials that increased the time and decreased the force. |

If I was going to improve my design I would have used more materials to fill up my box.

| Real world situations |
| Airbags : If you crash , the airbag prevents you from getting injured, because it increase the time and decrease the force so you don’t get smashed into the window |

Bike helmet :
If you fall off your bike and wear a helmet the helmet will prevent you from getting head injuries, becase the helmet increase time and decrese force. |
