In the picture above the helicopter is flying through the air. The action force is the blades of the helicopter push downwards on the air and the reaction force is the air pushing upwards against the blades. In this site you will learn more about Newton's Third Law and the forces between the objects.

Introduction:

We have been studying Newton's Second and Third Law for the past few weeks and this page allows me and my classmates to share our knowledge with you. My page includes a science page which contains an full explanation of Newton's 3rd Law along with the different forces and interactions. There are also pictures to aid your understanding of the subject. In case there are some words that you do not know there is a vocabulary page to elaborate. Lastly there is a related links page that gives credit to all of the sites used to get pictures and information on the topic that you can use to find more information.
