| Newton's third law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This means that when you do any action there is an action going on that is equal and in the opposite direction. One example of this is when you are swimming, You push the water backwards, and thus, the water pushes you forward. INTERACTION PAIR: The putter hits the ball forward(ACTION), and the ball pushes the putter back(REACTION). The same thing happens when you hit a truck with a golf club, only the action isn't as visible due to the huge mass of the truck.
