Action- the bat swings forward and hits the ball

Reaction- the ball hits the bat and flys off because the bat has more inertia the the ball does

Sir Isaac Newton originally presented his three laws of motion in in 1686. His third law says that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So, if object A exerts a force on object B, then object B exerts an equal and opposite force on object A.

Action- The ball pushes on the pin

Reaction- The pin pushes back on the ball

But the ball has a greater mass and a greater acceleration than the pin, therefore the ball accelerates through the pin.
