Newton has three laws. The first law is called the law of inertia and the second law relates mass and force to the acceleration of an object. Finally, Newton’s third law says that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Newton’s third law directly states “Whenever one object exerts a force on a second object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite force on the first object.” Summed up, the law is saying that in every interaction, there are a pair of forces acting on two interacting forces. The pairs are equal in strength and opposite in direction.
