The saying for every action there is a reaction is the fact in Newton’s Third Law of motion. When a force is applied to an object, it will apply an opposite but equal force. When you hit a hammer against a nail the nail will penetrate a board. The nail also exerts an equal force on the hammer, which slows down the hammer’s motion. I made this website for a ninth grade physics project about Newton’s Third Law.
