Isaac Newton was born January 4th 1643. He was a renowned as an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, and alchemist. He developed his theories about universal gravitation and the three laws and published them in his "Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica." This book would lay the groundwork for modern physics for the next three centuries.

This is Newton's Cradle. It is a toy that demonstrates Newton's third law. The motion is transferred from one ball to the next. It is interesting because it seems as if the balls in between aren't moving when really they are transferring the same amount of energy as the ones on the end.
