Sir Isaac Newton was a physicist, mathmetician, astronomer, natural philosipher and alchemist. His three laws of motion were essential to physics.
This website describes Newton's three laws of motion. In Newton's first law he explains inertia and how and object wants to continue in his state of motion. In his second law of motion he explains how net force and friction affect the motion of an object. Finally, in his third law he explained how every action has an equal but opposite reaction.
