Sir Isaac Newton lived from 1642 to 1727. He was an English scientist, mathematician, and astronomer. Newton’s discoveries in the scientific world are the bases of all science today.

In 1686 Sir Isaac Newton developed the laws of motion. His first law has to do with inertia, the second with acceleration and mass, and the third law deals with action and reaction forces. These laws of motion are still used today, and are described in this web site.
