Dear 4th Grade
I am very excited to go to 4th grade. I know that it will be a good year. I know that I will do new things. I really can't wait for the field trip. I will like to to do poster board projects. I like all the 4th grade teachers and you. I heard that 4th grade is very hard. I know 4th grade is harder then 3rd grade. I can't wait to meet you.

Sincerely,
Jonathan

Dear Fourth Grade Teacher,
I heard a lot of amazing things about Fourth Grade. I heard all the teachers are great. I am very exited about Fourth Grade. I don't know how much homework we have so I'm a little worried. I went through all the colonial projects. They were all excellent. Are we going to have the same projects that Fourth Grade did this year?

Dear Fourth Grade teacher,

I heard that fourth grade is very fun and exciting. I enjoyed third grade so I think Fourth grade will be fun. I would like to know what things that are different in math from third grade. All I know is that fourth grade learns algebra and it's hard. Ia m a person who likes Bottle Nose Dolphins and Asian Elephants and I like to collect Webkinz stuffed animals. I can't wait until I go to Fourth grade. It's going to be so fun!

P.S Colonial day was today. We saw the panoramas. It was neat.

Dear Secand grader,

Third grade is very different from second grade because of lots of things. Some of the things I will share with you. Some of the things you will do in third grade include a Natiive American report on a certain tribe. One of the things I thought was diffcult was the ERB test. A computer grades it. ( If you wan't to know more about the ERB test, ask your teacher). One thing I thought was easy was our "History of Us" book. I personally think it's not the funnest thing you do, but it's easy. The most funnest thing I thought I did was dissecting a squid in sicience class. Some advice I'd give you is that you should learn how to type faster because you will do a lot of typing. I also think handwriting is the key to everything. The better your handwriting is, the better your grades will be. I hope my advice will make third easier for you.

Your fellow third grader,
Chandler

Dear Second Graders,
Third Grade goes by faster than you think. In third grade you have ERB's, Presidentials, dissection in science, and many other new things. The ERB's were the hardest for me. I thoght the history was hard, too. Our class made a Darfur website and we raised over 6,000 dollars on. We worked on it for about 1/4 of the year. I thought the lattice in math was easy. My favorite subject was math. My favorite activity is recess. My favorite event is the program.

Dear Second Graders,

Third grade is very fun. We get to dissect squids. We get to do recorder karate. Third grade is like second grade but harder. The most difficult thing is Reading Comprehension. The easiest thing is blogs. My favorite subject is math. When you're in 3rd grade you should be ready. Third grade is fun, not hard.

Sincerely,
Jonathan

Mr. T is very special. He is special because he gave us M&M's. He told us about China. And, he knows my personalitiy. He calls me John which is my dad's name. That makes me feel special. If you're in Shorecrest, I hope you get Mr.T.

Mrs. Mulkey is a very sepcial teacher. She is very special because she's funny and explains things in funny ways. I also think she's special because she's patient and good at teaching. Three examples are that she could have said that Sam ate one half of a chocolate cake and Sue ate one half of the same chocolate cake and then she'd say that one half one half one chocolate cake. Another reason I like her is that she only yells if someone is being bad. I like the fact that she cares about the environment. She is so nice that she would get someone in trouble if they were stepping on the grass instead of using the sidewalk. Mrs. Mulkey is a nice teacher.

Mrs. Diaz Leroy is a funny teacher. She is thankful, loving, and has a good sense of humor. One day in music my class was being really good and she was very thankful. She has a very good sense of humor because she can have a cool accent. She always gives people another chance. She is a good teacher.
