My cats are loveable , curious and kind. Yet when they`re kind of coco they raelly twist they`re mind. My cat has a computer. It tells you where to go. Watch your step in Hollywood or else you`ll never know. Also they talk , giggle and squak. They had a big party at the very big sweet. They go to sleep when they`re beat.

I've written a story about queens, kings, royals, and the Native American, Buffalo Bow of the North East Woodlands Tribes. This story tells of a special lesson. Readers, listen extremely carefully.
"Old Deer," Buffalo Bow groaned. "Bring me my shoes. I will go trading today. I wish to trade our finest bow for one of Long Weed's watertight baskets, like everyone else does."
Old Dear was Buffalo Bow's very old and wise Grandfather.
Old Dear replied, "You are too old to walk to the market and you know it."
"But grandfather, I want to fish and store the fish I catch in that basket."
"Why do want to fish?" asked Old Dear.
"Our clothing is so plain. I was also going to make our clothes fancier like everyone else's clothing."
"What else were you planing to do?" asked Old Deer in an extremely bored tone.
"I would be totally ecstatic if I could start a trading market of my own."
"What on earth would the use of a trading market be if we are so poor that we barely have two items that are worth trading?"
"To be like everyone else and to earn some LOTS money for our clothing."
"Are you not proud of who you are?" questioned Old Deer.
"No. I am not. You, dear Grandfather, and I, son of Elephant Horn, should both live like kings, queens and royals in the Strange Land of White Fish (Europe). Their robes are scarlet. They're so rich that we don't have one single coin, not one Grandfather, just one single coin compared to them. Even their night gowns are haute coutere. Baskets that they wear on their heads are delicate and lined with gold. Potlatch gowns (party clothes) are decorative and extremely fancy. Expensive is their favorite word. We can't even afford seeds to plant our food. We need money and clothing and an honor to our name. Wedding headresses are very long and extensive. Who wouldn't want to live like that?"
"No one, my grandson. But everyone is unique."
This story tells that everyone is unique. I hope that you have learned a lot from it.
The Great Penobscot Named Pano - Petu
One day a Native American was born. He was the fastest and most skillfull men of the Penobscot tribe. When he was 8 he went hunting. He brought back home a 4 foot deer. Every one was proud of him. When he was 20 years old in the forest he found a enormous giraffe . The giraffe wa extremely furry. One day when he was about to die he figured out that they were born on the same day at the same hour.
American Kids Program-Summer
The American Kids Program talks about history of America. We sing, dance, and kids' moms and dads enjoy it. We learned about what's in the songs because we learn history of America in the songs. It also tells you and your kids about the American History. One of the songs is called Fifty Nifty, and Fifty Nifty has all the states in alphabetical order. Another song is called American History Rap, but it is not just rap. It tells you about the time from 1620 to now. We have lines in the middle of the songs. At the end we have a big cake shaped like the United States of America and every state in it.
America the Beautiful-JoAnn

Shorecrest's third grade is proud to present "AMERICA'S KIDS" program featuring facts and songs about the United States of America. These songs include "Yankee Doodle", "Follow The Drinking Gourd", "I Got Rhythm", and many more.
I have learned a lot about the U.S. from our program. Here are some interesting facts I have learned:
The United States had a war with Great Britain because the people that had made that long journey across the Atlantic Ocean wanted to become independent from Britain. In the Revolutionary War many people were killed, hung, or captured. Britain had an army of soildiers trained to march in unison while playing flutes or drums. They were sometimes refered to as "The Bloody British" for their uniforms were red. America's army consisted of farmers, teachers, and silversmiths. We had struggles winning, but we defeated the British. Today the United States of America is a free country.
Thomas Jefferson was president. He signed and wrote the Declaration of Independence to ensure that we were a free country.
These are interesting facts that help you learn about the U.S. Look on Shorecrest's weblite for more information.
My third grade class and the other third grade classes in third grade are going to do a program about American history. Do you now the states in abc order? Did you know Lewis, Clark, and Sacagewea? The program has lots of information. The program will go back to when America started. It will be great.
Tigers are my favorite animal because they can catch prey easily by appraoching it , waiting , laeping up into the air and attacking. Tigers eat meat and only meat. Did you know that tigers only live in China because they got sent from another continent? Tigers are not only orange. They can also be white ones. Tigers are lazy or they can be very up and going. When tigers are 3-8 they play with other tigers. I hope to have a baby tiger when I growup.
"Red, white, and yellow flowes dance, sing, twirl, and whirl and show of their little pink shoes to a robin that is sky blue." This is a sentence in which both imagination and fantasy are expressed.
This sentence is meant to take place in a nonsense land. The flowers are able to walk and talk, but aren't very loud. Flowers are very light, and so when there is a windy day, and you don't have roots, it's a problem. The flowers' eyes are small, but the flowers have vision like no other plant or animal on earth.
Butterflies and bees aren't able to take pollen from flowers because flowers don't like to be touched, and so they must go to the pollen store where artificial pollen is made.
The flowers' king, Pollenysia, is a sky blue robin. That's where the sky blue robin from the poetic sentence comes from. "I just heard the robin say he wants tea. I have to go!"
Nature helps you scan books and relax, as it is gorgeous and refreshing. Nature is calm so you can read without noise. You can read near the water or near a tree. You can also listen to the animal noises. You can also sleep calm. Nature also grows forever. NATURE IS AWESOME!
New Years Resolution-Summer
My goal for this year's resolution is to do better at art, take care of animals more, and spend more time with them. But also, I want to lose some weight. I want to do better at art is because I`m really improving at art. I`ll do it by practicing more at art. Animals are a very important part of me. That's why I want to spend more time with them. I can take care of my cats by feeding them, loving them, and playing with them. I want to lose weight because I don't feel right. It's just not my fashion. I`ll lose weight by exercising.
New Years Resolutions-JoAnn
I began learning Chinese last year. I want to learn Chinese because it willl become an important buisness language. Chinese culture is also very interesting. My goal this year is to learn more about China and its culture. I will start with these few ways:
I will learn a little bit of Chinese brush painting.
Leaning haw to speak on the phone is another goal of mine.
Along with these two goals I would like to learn more about Chinese dancing, China's history, and Chinese food because I Iove learning about a country's past and food.

New Years Resolution - Petu
My New Year's resolution is to get into tennis tournaments. I want to win tournaments just like my big brother. I think that I am playing good. My other resolution is to not fight with my brother . I don't like fighting with him. I like playing with him. Playing with my brother is really fun.
Snowflakes are just frozen rain. They are a beautiful sight, but they taste horrible (especially off the ground).
Snowflakes do not make sounds when they fall, even though during snowstorms, there is a noise like rushing water. It's just the wind. Wind blows snowflakes from one place to another, or it can blow snowflakes from one corner of the sky to another.
As you cannot smell rain or wind, you cannot smell snow either. If you try to catch snow on your nose, it will probably melt.
Snowflakes are very pretty, but they don't last. Even if they don't last, there is at least one way to remember them. You can always keep snow in your heart.
