Once I went on a trip, but not any old trip, a moon trip. I went in January. I found a really cool doll. Where did she go? She went to cut the world in half. She got a lizard and gave it to me. I put him in a rocket and put gas in the rocket. The rocket went the speed of light. I took a rocket back and jumped into bed. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

"Opera" is What the Penguin Sings-JoAnn

tuesday, march 27, 2007 at 12:48:01 PM

I found a penguin singing opera on a horse!!!
An oil spill made his feathers coarse.
The horse meowed just like a cat while
the singing penguin doffed his hat!
He spoke to me and I was shocked!
I took his wings and locked 'm up.
He waddled into my car, and then a buckled
him up, and drove him really far.
World Records would say,"Exaggeration!"
But do they have this picture?
One year ago a boy came to my school. He was the son of the best pitcher in the world. He joined the baseball team and pitched so fast, the ball started burning. It burned the catcher's glove. One day at the championship game, he pitched the fastest, strongest pitch ever in the history of pitchers. The pitch went all around the universe 1000 times. After 9.9 billion years, the ball came back to Earth. It made a hole in a tennis racket, broke a bat, and hit a catcher's head. The ball disappearrd. No one has seen that ball again.

One day my mom said, "Honey! We're going to the beach!". I was waiting for this day for two months. I packed and got into the car. Boy, my sisterhates the beach. But she realizes that it's ok when she gets there. After I ate I got bored. Then I realized that I'm at the beach. There's lots of sand, lots and lots of sand. If there's sand, you can build a sandcastle. So I built a one. It had toy flags on the top, a ditch, and a cave. I was standing there proudly.
Part 1
Once upon a time there was a sea flower named Maria. She skipped through the halls of her elegant sand home, wrinkling her silk carpet, carefully avoiding the glass-like shell chandelier, and stepping on the hem of her most divine gown- blue scales with golden seaweed embroiderey.

Her mother, the queen of all the sea flowers, was about to pick every one of her daughter's delicate rose petals because the Annual Sea Flower Ball was about to begin. "Put on your fin shoes," she would say. Maria foud her fin shoes in the cupboard (what an odd place).

Part 2

The queen invited everyone in to supper as the supper bell rang. Maria was right behind her.

Lord Weed with Lady Pimpernel, and...... yes, yes, here every body comes. YEAH HOOOOO! HERE COMES SIR PANY-FRANY. Oh! Now who is this in the feathered skirt? Oh well. No time to worry about her, Maria thought.

Maria'a father, the king, sat down at the head of the table. "We now shall begin!!!"he shouted merrily.

The adults talked, except for one. The person in the peacock skirt didn't fit in. "Strange," Maria murmered under her breath. She quickly turned her head, realizing that she was staring.

Her father stood up to give his speech. "Whate a perfect night," he began. All was going as planned until....Swoosh!!!! The lady in the peacock skirt tackled the king! He was defenseless.

Her claws sank deep into his leafy stem. She took off her disguise. "I'm a bird!!!!!!!!" she yelled, " HEEEE HEEEE HEEEEE!! Evil tastes so good!"

People werre in a frenzy. Chairs were turned over, wine spilled, and chocolate cake was gobbled as a last minute snack.

One person turned back. The king's bravest knight and sea flower, Sir Pany-Frany , had to save his king.

It was a long and merciful fight, but in the end, a worn out knight held up a seagull wing in triumph.

Part 3
Sir Pany-Frany became Prince Pany-Frany, and all lived happpily ever after.

For spring break my family went to Mexico. There I built a perfect sandcastle. I made it in a big hole. I first built two towers at each end. I protected it with huge walls and a hole to keep out the water. After that, I made a bridge. My brother made a sandcastle that was huge. But, it got destroyed by a giant wave. After that, we ate and went back to the beach. My cousin helped me make it bigger and perfect. When it was done, I made the walls even bigger. A huge wave destroyed it. We had lots of fun.
The komodo dragon lives in Wallacea. Komodos eat lots of things like birds, bird eggs, small mammals, monkeys, wild pigs, goats, deer, horses, wild horses, water buffalos, and snakes. One of their threats are that people are trying to capture them and put them in zoos all over the world. They are also VULNERABLE , wich means the komodo dragon is almost endangered! Most of their food is in the savanna. That's one place they live. More places are in the grass land and tropical rain forest. Now about their body. The females are more olive green. THeir neck is also yellow. Males have yellow patches on their body. Their young are even more colorful, for instance, yellow and green on a dark backround.
Shirane-aoi is a semi-endangered flower growing in Honshu and Hokkaido, Japan. Read on to learn more about shirane-aoi.

Purple or white flowers, shriane-aoi is 5-10 centimeters in diameter.
Shirane-aoi blooms frim My to June, is perennial, and and represents the season spring.

Honsh and Hokkaido are very moutainous islands. In fact, Honshu is one of the snowiest places on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!! Shirane-aoi can grow on hills or mountains to bright forests. Shirane-aoi is named after Mt.Nikko Shirane.

One of shirane aoi's threats is being eaten by deer. Nippon Paper Industries just gave a forest to a group set up by the Shirane-aoi Preservation Group. This group is fairly new. It began recruiting volunteers in 2000. Replanting is going on at the present moment.
