Dear fourth grade teacher,

I think fourth grade is going to be great! I know there are going to be many fun projects. One of them is colonial day. Our class looked at all the projects, and I thought they were amazing! It seems like it took a pretty long time to make those projects. The year is probably going to fly by because third grade seems like it is only 1/3 of second grade. If you want to know my favorite subjects here are they: art, PE, music, reading time and of course recess. I like art because you get to paint pictures and draw. I like P.E. and recess because you get to be active. You also play many fun games. I like reading and music because during reading time you get to relax and read books. In music you can sing songs and play on the recorder. Fourth grade is going to be great!

Sincerely,
Felix

P.S I'm a little worried.

Third Grade Advice-Savanna

Dear Second graders,

Third grade is very different from second grade. We start cursive in the 2nd part of third grade. We also learn our multiplication tables. In Mrs. Drexler's class we made a website that raises money for the people in Darfur. What I thought the most difficult thing was playing the recorder. The easiest thing was learning multiplaction. My favorite part of third grade was the explorer research. A little peice of advice is to know your mutiplication and be a good writer.

Sincerely,
Savanna

ps. you'll love it.

Dear Second Graders,

Third grade is a very interesting and fun grade. You do many big projects in the third grade. The year seems like it just flies by; it feels like only a couple of months. There were some difficult parts though, the ERB testing and math tests. The third grade isn't all that hard because some tests are pretty easy. All you have to do is study. This year is also the first year of band class. In band class you learn about music and play many instruments. Band class is similar to music class. You get to play a lot of instruments. Third grade is also the first year of real Presidential Fitness testing. When you come to the third grade for the first time you might feel a little bit nervous but the year is going to be great! You will learn many things including cursive. For the second half of the year you're actually going to have to write in cursive all the time but that's easy if you know how to write in cursive. Third grade is going to be fun!

Sincerely,
Felix

Dear Second Grader,
Third grade is great and you will love it! We did a project on Darfur, a Native American research project, and many other things. The most difficult part was the WRAP, a two day long writing test. Math tests can be difficult too. The easiest parts were social studies and Wordly Wise. My favorite part was the Darfur project. The Native American project was fun too. My tribe was the Powhatan. You will love third grade!!!!!!!!!

Coach Hutton is a very special teacher. She's very athletic. Coach Hutton has a great, great sense of humor. She almost never yells. She's always calm and helpful. Coach Hutton is always, I mean always happy. Sometimes she tells a joke wrong but it will still be funny . She's always very encouraging. She's a great teacher.
Mrs. Savitsky was a very special teacher. She was not too strict. She didn't give much homework, and sometimes she didn't even give any homework. Mrs. Savitsky was a kind, nice, loving, clever, and a special teacher in many ways. She didn't just teach regular things like social studies and math, Mrs. Savitsky taught us French, friendliness, and when there was a holiday she would talk aboutit. Mrs. Savitsky also did many projects with us. If someone didn't understand something, she would explain the subject better. Mrs. Savitsky was one of my favorite teachers. I also had many other very, very special teachers. Two of those were Mrs. Owen and Mrs. Drexler.

My country she assigned me was Thailand. Mrs.Counts is Irish. Her class studied the Continent of Asia. She was a very, very, very, very great teacher.
