Hello. My name is Salt Oceans. I am part of the Tocobaga tribe. We live in small villages that are situated around a public meeting place. Our houses have round and wooden poles that hold up a roof or palm thatches. My mom has a midden (a garbage heap) next to our kitchen. We fish and gather shellfish. One or two years later men with white skin and who had great tools came to us. They brought disease and violence to our peaceful tribe. I know this because my little sister She Who Plays, and my grandmother died from the sickness the white skinned men brought. The worst part is that they captured my mom and I, and some other women and children. So now we're in a tiny, crowed canoe with raw fish and salty water. All I can do is to write in this journal about my journey and hope.

If I was a shark, I would be a Great White. I would be a Great White shark because they have stong jaws and lots of teeth. The Great White is considered the second strongest shark in the world. It is the 3rd largest shark in the world. Great White females grow to be about 26 feet long. The males grow to be about 18 feet long. I would have lots to eat!

My house is the most famous house in the world. It is a large two-story house with a gray paint color. There is a pool on the second story with a glass bottom. The first story is a room with walls that can change into a television, a couch, and a bed. You have your own robot butler that when you ask for something to eat, it comes right out of his stomach. The kichen has everything from chicken to lobster and the refrigerator is as long as a teacher's white board. I see this famous house every night because the only time I can see it is in my dreams.

One day in my closet, I heard one of my shoes talking to my sock! My shoe started by saying, " Hey sock, you're getting kind of smelly!" In reply the sock said, "Well it ain't my fault. You're the one who's always walking going places." (the sock didn't know proper English!) Then the shoe didn't like to have the sock talking about him like that. So he tried changing the subject to a knock-knock joke. Shoe said to sock, "knock-knock" "who's there? " "ka" "ka-who? " "Bless you!" "yah that was real funny shoe! Now let me tell you a knock-knock joke. Knock-knock" " who's there?" "cargo" "cargo who?" "cargo-beep-beep!" "Sorry, sock I already heard that one." So on they went for about 30 min. to 1 hour!

My super hero's name is SPACE MAN. Space Man's powers are to electrocute,shoot lava, and turn invisible.

Have you ever heard of the super hero Incrdi-Girl? Well she has shape-shifting, freezing, and melting power. Her reguler name is Zoie Melentreek. She is a famous chef. Zoie's arch enemy is Johny Eveyil. Incredi-Girl's most recent rescue was saving a dog that got stuck in Lake Michigan (in the winter time). She melted the lake with her melting powers.

My super name is Steel Man, but his actual name is Bruce Picanni. His super powers is strength. He can also make steel come out of his head. His day job is a sky scraper builder. His most recent hero rescue is capturing a lady from a sky scaper. He also put his arch foe, The Rustenater, in justice. His costume is gray jeans with a gray tank top , and he has a helmet with a nose guard and gray lenses.

Holes is about a kid named Stanley who's Great Great Grandfather starts a curse. Stanley gets blamed for stealing some shoes. He goes to a boot camp and gets orange jail clothes. He has to dig holes at the camp that are 5 feet deep and 4 feet wide. Stanley digs a tunnel and finds fish fossils because the camp used to be a lake. You will love this book because Stanley doesn't know what will happen with the curse and how the kids at camp are related.

Gregor and the Prohecy of Bane

Gregor has fallen back into the Underland. He did because cockroaches were kidnapping his sister. Gregor finds out that he has to kill a ten foot tall rat. They go on a journey on a boat with eleven living things on it. Only a few of them survive. My favorite part is when they are in the boat and the shiners are annoying. I also like it because the shiners are funny fighting over nothing. I recommend this book to anyone who likes thrilling, never-stopping adventure. For readers who love to read, read it!

The World According to Humphery

If you like hamsters and funny books, then The World According to Humphery is a superb choice for you! This book is about a hysterical hamster who can read and write and even take vocabulary tests! A part enjoyed was when Humphery went home on the weekend to someone's house and learned to shoot rubber bands (only in self defense, of course). I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes hamsters. This is a very funny book and I think that anyone who reads it will like it and appreciate it!

Have you met the crazy pig? I have. He has green, blue, and yellow stars on him. He has red feet, red mouth, and pink cheeks. He has black, blue, pink, and green eyes. He has a pink nose, black eyelashes, and a red and green flower on top. Crazy pig has a blue tail, orange ears, and black nostrils. Can you picture the crazy pig?

Mr. Pig Bottle is a funny little pig that has long black eyelashes and an orange and red flower on his white skin. He also has bright green eyes and a curly pink tail. He has orange ears, three stars, and red feet. I think Mr. Pig Bottle is a silly and cute pig!

I saw the most interesting animal. His name is milk jug pig. This is what he looked like. He had a body made out of a milk jug with round eyes that were purple, green, and with black pupils. He has a pink mouth and red shoes made out of thread spools, and he also has a curly pink tail . He also has long orange ears made from construction paper and he has three stars on his body, one orange and red star, one blue and purple star, and one yellow star. Would you like to see him ?
