Fourth Grade Teacher-SANTO
Dear fourth grade teacher, My name is Santo and I am looking forward to seeing you next year. My favorite subjects are science and history because I enjoy learning aboat them. I'm good and math and spelling. I am also good at working with people. My football team is the Fl. Gators. Do you like them? I like to play tether ball and tag at recess. My friend Felix, has been in my class since I started here at Shorcrest. I hope I am in his class again. I can't wait until I am in the Fourth Grade!
Sincerly, Santo
Dear 4th grade teacher-Patrick
Dear 4 th grade teacher,

Dear Fourth Grade Teacher-Jordan
Dear fourth grade teacher, I've seen lots of cool things that you do in fourth grade. As I saw this year, Colonial Day looks like a lot of fun. Also, I hear that the math gets more challenging. I was wondering if the spelling gets harder, but I guess I'll find out, and if we were going to have any sort of a morning meeting. Actually I don't know if I can think of anything right now that I'm concerned or worried about. I'm pretty sure we're going to have to research about the colonies, and that we're going to be learning some pretty neat things in Social Studies. I like pretty much all the subjects, but two favorites are math and science. I'm good at math and I think science is interesting. My two hobbies are dancing and collecting (I collect four diffirent things.). Fourth grade seems like it's going to be a fun year! See you next year in fourth grade!
Third grader Jordan
Dear second graders,
Third grade is fun because you get to use Photo Shop. In math, we learned lattice. In P.E. we do Presidentials. We learned lots of history. The math was hard. P.E.was easy. My favorite thing was P.E. You will need to get ready for Presidentials. You will need to get ready for math. You will also need to get ready for reading.
Patrick
Third Grade Advise-Jordan
Dear Second Graders, Third grade is an exciting and interesting year. You take these tests called ERBs, which test you on pretty much everything you've learned that year. There's also a writing part of it called a WRAP that tests you on how good you can write a story. You have probably trained for it, but in third grade, the Presidental Fitness Test really counts. Sometimes the multiplying in math was a little bit difficult with having to remember all the answers to all of the problems. But, after a little, it's simple. Probably the most easy thing for me was the spelling. Some words were hard, but over all they were simple. If you get Mrs. Drexler, you'll learn about literary divices like other classes, but you'll get to do something special. In Mrs. Drexler's class you are assigned a literary device and you and your group have to make an i-Movie about it. All I have to say about third grade is to expect big changes and fun!
Hope you have fun in third grade!
Third grader, Jordan
Dear secound graders,
Thrid grade is one of my favorite years here at Shorecrest, and I am sure you will like it, too. The is filled with work and new projects to be finished. In thrid grade we mostly study the times tables. One of the hardest things that we do is the blogging. That is what I'm doing now. Every week we write a paragragh about ten sentences ad we publish it. After the winter Holidays we have to write in cursive for the rest of the year. The easiest thing we do is the math. The best thing we did was getting to dissect a squid in science class. Now we are doing a project with Explorers and it is very fun. I hope you like 3rd grade, too. Sincerely, Santo
Mr.Dervase is a very special teacher. He lets us have longer recess. He is nice. He teaches well. Mr.Dervase made my brothers grade run a mile. He is very kind and calm. Mr.Dervase is a bright teacher. He is also happy. But I like Mrs.Drexler the most.
Ms. Diaz-Leroy is one special teacher. She's got a unique personality. Ms. Diaz-Leroy has a great sence of humor because she talks in accents, but still at some times is a tiny bit strict. She is very loving and caring to all students. She's so lively and always has a smile with her. If you see Ms. Diaz-Leroy on the sidewalk and say hello, she always gives a warm hello back to you. She will tell you if you how to play the recorder, if you are squeaking. Ms. Diaz-Leroy's great sense of humor really stands out when she starts talking in different accents when explaining something to us. She knows how to play the guitar, piano, recorder, and the drumset, and how to sing, which I think is pretty unique. Ms. Diaz-Leroy is a cool person and a very special teacher.
Mrs. Savitsky is a special teacher. She is kind and nice. She is one of my favorite teachers of all time.If we got a good score on a test she wouid have give us candy. Mrs. Savitsky taught us so much. Every once in a while I stop by Mrs. Savitsky's class and say hello. She usually gives me a hug and a piece of candy. She calls them smart seeds. As is said, she has taught us so much in school and in life.
