I like to do multiplication because you learn a lot. My favorite number to multiply is nine. The trick to nine is if it is 7x9 you put down your seventh finger and finger to the left is the tens. And every thing to the right is the ones. I think I am good at multiplication because I study every day when I am in the car. I ask my mom to quiz me sometimes. Sometimes I think it is stress because there are hard problems like 8x8. I think eleven is the easiest because if it was eleven times eight the eight would go in the tens and the ones place. I also like to do timed multiplication tests. On timed multiplication tests you have 90 seconds to get as many facts done as possible. I like to do multiplication number stories. The hardest facts for me are 6x7, 6x8, and 8x8. I like to learn multiplication.

Taking a hike is fun, but especally when you are learning multiplication!

My favorite type of math is multiplication. It works by taking a number like seven. Then, you take another number like four, and you make the number you want to know by adding seven four times. Here is an example: 7+7=14+7=21+7=28! My favorite facts are 8x8 and the times-ten facts. I like these facts because they are very easy. You can remember multiplication facts by making number stories with them. Here is an example: I got four puppies. Two months later, for nine days in a row I got four puppies each day. How many puppies do I have now? 4x10=40. It is fun to do multiplication because you can play games with it and it makes math easier! I like it because of both these reasons. There are six multiplication facts that people get stumped on. They are: 6x3, 7x3, 6x4, 6x7, 6x8, 7x7. Here are some rhymes to help you.

If I turned into mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce my body would be made of mashed patatos. I would have cranberry sauce hair, shoes, hair, and a cranberry sauce dress. I would wake up on Thanksgiving day and hop in a toy car. Then I would drive downstairs and notice that Mama, Daddy, and Joshua were made out of mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, too. A few hours later there would be a knock at the door, It would be Santo! He would be a turkey in a tuxedo. Next Meredith would come and she would be a pilgrim girl! Then Nana and Papa would come and they would be scarecrows! Then JoAnn and Evan would come. Evan would be corn dressed as a pilgrim, and JoAnn would be sushi with ham for a dress. Then we would have our Thanksgiving feast. "This is the life." I would say, and everyone would agree. That night I would dream that I was a human again. Then the next day everything would be back to normal. Then I would not be able to wait till next Thanksgiving!

Iam thankful for lots of things. I love my family most of all because they bought a house for all of our family. Another way I am thankful is because they let me go to an awesome school. Mom usually helps me with my homework. I am really thankful for my relatives. Two of my favorites are Mikey and Mathew. I love to go on bike rides with them. I really love grandma and grandpa because they love me. I also like to have playdates with my friends. We always do our homework first. Chase and I like to go in my room. Sometimes we play games. His favorite game is Sorry. I love the things I am thankful for.

My favorite dish is the cranberrey sauce. I like it because it is very sweet and has an interesting texture. I like cranberrey sauce on top my turkey. I also like it on my stuffing. I normally have it in the middle of dinner. You make it by smashing cranberries. Then you mix it with all sorts of spices. I think cranberry sauce is the best part of dinner.

My Second Sleepover

BEFORE
On Saturday, November 4th, I went to my second sleepover ever! (Besides at Nana' and Papa's house.) Kalee was there before me; but next Summer came, then Laura, and then Mithilde came. Next we went into Angelina's room and we played a computer marble game. I was absessed with the game! When it was my turn to do it, I picked one of the fun marble games. After that we celebrated Angelina's birthday! The awesome thing was the cake. It was supposed to be a littler box with kitty litter, and there were tootsie rolls for fake droppings! Then, I slept on top of my sleeping bag without a blanket! But, Daisy, their cat, kept on snuggling up against me and Kalee's backside. I love sleepovers!

AFTER
On Saturday, November 4, I went to my second sleepover ever! ( Other than at Nana and Papa's house.) Kalee was there first, then I jogged through the door, unpacked my stuff, and ran around extra excitedly! A couple of minutes later, Summer sprinted in and Matilde and Laura optimistically leaped in. Next we skipped peacefully into Angelina's "crib". We got on the computer and played MARBLE BLAST GOLD! It was so fun! Then we had the most disgusting/cool/funny cake. It was a fake litter box with crumpled up cake for kitty litter and toostie rolls for fake droppings. I slept on top of my sleeping bag without the company of a blanket. But Daisy, Angelina's cat, kept snuggling up to me and Kalee's backside. I love sleepovers and I can't wait till the next the next one!

My Best Friend

Chase is my best friend. We like to go to football games together. We also play games t home. Chase has an older brother named Billy. He sometimes hurts Chase and me. Chase's favorite thing to do is flag football. His position is quarterback. Another thing he likes is going out on his boat. Chase has long brown hair. He has blue eyes. He always has a smile. Sometimes he is annoying. I have known Chase as long as I can remember.

AFTER
My best friend Chase is fascinating to romp around with. We prize our football games together. We also compete in hard games. Chase's brother, Billy, sometimes abuses us. One of Chase's favorite things to do is flag football. His favorite position is quarterback. Another thing he likes to do is spin around on his boat. Chase likes to keep his brown hair long. He also has blue eyes. He always has a smile on his face. Sometimes he's annoying. He insults my feelings sometimes by saying mean words. But all friends have disagreements sometimes. In this case, your body becomes strong enough to battle the disease. When I get a disease, I think of a bunch of knights trying to catch a bunch of guys on motorcycles. DEATH.
It all started when I was six years old. I saw, strange clouds. To find out what they were and where they came from I went to investigate. I had not walked one hundred yards when I heard a blood-curdling scream. SO, I ran through the forest and hid in a bush. Then I saw it. One of our young braves, Na- sang -saso lay dead. As I peered the bushes I saw somethin black, and round in his chest. A bullet.
A BULLET.
Then I saw the strange clouds again, only this time they were attached to large, fancy, canoes. Then someone cried, "I GOT him CAPTAIN!' There were pale-skins storming on the beach. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE! I ran to the the tamend and told him what had happened. He told me he would take care of it. The next thing you know it is my birthday and we are having " a litte pow-wow" with them. That night my Mama, Daddy, and little brother Josha gave me a birthday present.
A KNIFE
That night I snuck into the pale-skins' camp. One said, ''Those savages don't know what's coming!'' Then the captain said, ''The mascare tomorrow should take care of them!'' I ran back to the village to warn them about the pale-skins' evil plan! But none would listen. Nobody. The next day a bloody masacare occured, and 200 people were killed. So that night I crept into the pale-skins' camp again, The next day a real surprise.

ESCAPE
War. The pale-skins declaired war. Luckily, my family and I escaped and joined the Seminole tribe. Then I met Cheif Oceola, who, surprisingly was my uncle. Yep. That was two years ago. Now I am waiting to become... CHEIF OF THE SEMINOLE TRIBE!

I wake up, and then have some deer to eat. My name is Seeing Bull. I dig up some shells to make spears and tools. I play with my toys. I get some water from Calooshahatchee river. Then I wake up my parents. We have a lunch of elk or deer and nuts. I build lots of towers out of sticks. Then I play a ball game. By now it is night.
