I'm doing a number story for my blog. A number story is a story about either multiplication, divison, adding, or subtracting. This is the one I made:
Suzy and I went to go to the mall. When we had lunch, Suzy had 3 scoops of soup that filled her bowl. I had 3 as well. Then we made a multiplication fact rap as we were eating. Then, we went to the car to go to the store. I got 8 boxes of cookies. Each box of cookies had 5 cookies in it. How many cookies in all?

40 cookies

8 x 5 = 40
Though you may not like multiplation, it is very useful. You use it every day at the store or even at work. I must say I am happy to know how to do it. It is also pretty easy to learn. I think 9s are hard though. I think the 11s and 5s are easy!!! The 2s are easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite problem is 6x6=36.

How Does Multiplication Make me feel -Aaron

Multiplication always makes me feel happy inside. Every time I do a fact I feel smart. When I do about four or five I feel intelligent. Multiplication is my favorite subject in math so I am very fast at it. If I do one fact I wake up like that. One of my favorite facts is 7X6=?. I feel hyper when I do 18 facts in 80 seconds. I always feel ready for those facts.

There are loads of dishes on Thanksgiving. There's mashed potatoes and many more, but my personal favorites are the corn, peas, beef, and of course the turkey. The corn, the peas, and the turkey are hard to describe , but the beef is easy !!!!! The beef is nice and juicy! Oh yeah, did I mention the sweet potatoes? You probably guessed, I like the sweet potatoes because they are sweet. I can't wait till Thanksgiving.

I help my mom prepare for Thanksgiving dinner by helping her cook and set the table. On Thanksgiving, we travel all over the country. We go to North Carolina sometimes. Other times we go to Michigan. My mom and I always make the stuffing together. After we eat we watch the games.

My Baseball Dream

BEFORE
This is about me being a major league baseball player. Everytime I got up to bat I would hit a home run. Our team would be the best. In the field, we would get three out's flat! They would never get any runs. We would be in the World Series, and we would win fifty to zero. That is my dream.

AFTER
My ultimate dream is to pitch no hitters in the Major League. Every time I get up to bat I will smash a home run. Our team will clobber the other teams. When we are fielding, we always make super plays and get three outs flat! The competition will hardly get a man on base. Our team will climb the ranks to the world series and they'll get their butts kicked fifty to zero. What an amazing dream!

Darfur Perspective
BEFORE
Hi. I'm John. I live in a refugee camp. I used to live in a small hut. A horse mounted army called the Janjaweed invaded my village. It is a civilian army, usually armed with machine guns. Life before they invaded was much better. Our cattle was alive, not dead. I have a dad and 2 sisters. My mom passed away. She was killed when the Janjaweek invaded. The refugee camps are crude. We have to live in tents. We also eat dried food such as beans. We used to be able to eat better food such as corn and beef.

AFTER
Hi I am John. I'm forced to stay in a refugee camp. I used to be so comfortable living in my small hut. Then a horse and camel mounted army invaded. The civilian army attacked us and our cattle with their machine guns. Life before they invaded was enjoyable. For one thing our cattle roamed free. Now they are dead. I have a dad and two sisters. My mom was killed when the Janjaweed invaded. We exist in crude conditions in the refugee camp. We have to live in tents! We also have to eat dried food such as beans! Before we were able to savor better food such as corn and beef.

Hi. My name is Nocombe. I live in the Tocobaga Tribe. This is what I do when I wake up. I get up and get dressed, then I eat breakfast. My breakfast is made up of fruit and other foods. I diet on mostly fruit and meat. Then I cook with my mother in the kitchen some times. I love sports. I gather shellfish on the beach. Then I play with my friends until lunch. My lunch is made up of rabbit, fruit, and some times corn. At dinner, I eat deer, corn, fruit, and sometimes other foods. Then I go to sleep.

Good Night!!!
